As the Hospital Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large department and overseeing a team of 50+ FTEs. You will be responsible for ensuring that laboratory operations are running smoothly and efficiently, implementing new procedures and policies, and ensuring that all laboratory work is conducted in compliance with regulatory standards. In addition, you will be responsible for managing staff, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this role must possess an MT or MLS certification through ASCP or AMT and must have at least five years of generalist experience in a hospital laboratory setting. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in all areas of laboratory science, including Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
