Doctors of Children is looking for a full or part time BC/BE Pediatrician to join our team. We are an independent pediatric practice located in Lincoln, NE, and have been caring for the community's children for over 25 years. We are honored by the trust placed in us by our patients and committed to providing the best medical care to our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct well-child exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and manage developmental and behavioral concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards.
- Educate patients and their families on healthy lifestyles, immunizations, preventive care measures, health conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle changes, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
- Emphasize preventive measures through routine check-ups, screenings, immunizations, and health education to prevent illnesses and maintain overall health.
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed (typically 1:7 call ratio). Calls go to a nurse triage service, so number of calls is minimal
- Participate in value-base care and quality assurance programs.
- Provide leadership within the clinical team, guiding best practices, participating in quality improvement efforts, and mentoring other healthcare staff.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
