We need creative and caring people to job coach IDD Waiver participants (individuals with developmental disabilities). This is a structured program in which the job coach follows an individualized plan to guide a program participant toward improved work skills and a successful work experience. All training provided (paid).
The program participants typically have jobs in a food service operation performing general tasks such as maintaining the dining area (clearing tables, handling trash), restocking snacks and prepared items at the counter, and helping in the dishwashing area.
Requires a valid drivers' license and good driving record - able to transport individual to a local work location. Experience using a computer for basic data entry is necessary for this job. Must be able to keep track of details such as task worked on and time to complete while multi-tasking as a trainer.
