Your Role:
You will apply the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborate in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Further your professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.

Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.

Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.

Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.

Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.

Position Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of an approved Nursing Program

Active Tennessee RN license

6 months of RN experience

Acute Care Experience

BLS Certification

ACLS Certification for Step-Down and Critical Care

Position Shift

Full-time, 7PM-7AM (36 Hours)

Unit Summary:
Float Pool Nurses provide specialty services that include but are not limited to med-surge, step-down, palliative care, oncology, and a variety of other service lines. Supplemental staffing provides a crucial service for our customers, not only to ensure safe quality patient care, but provides support for our unit colleagues as well. You will be offered opportunities to expand your knowledge and maintain an expansive skill set which will enable to you to become a resource to others. This is a full time role with premium pay.
