Review current online experiences and provide subject matter expertise to optimize them.
Participate in the defining and design of the overall feel of the experiences in consideration of a multi-year customer experience roadmap.
Provide overall design assets for screens, landing pages, emails, etc. that user interacts and ensuring that the UI visually and strongly communicates the desired user interaction.
Illustrate user flows using wireframing and low fidelity prototypes for requirements gathering; build rapid prototypes for usability testing
Propose labels and elements based on consumer psychology and participate in usability studies to optimize our experiences.
Provide a holistic view for all online experiences to make them consistent, scalable, easy to deploy, and easy to re-use in other contexts.
Work closely with creative design lead and marketing team to deliver high-fidelity prototypes for optimal, responsive, mobile-first experiences.
Conduct user research, usability, and perform online surveys from time to time to inform existing and new design
Use conversion optimization platforms to conduct A/B test, multivariate tests, and identify pain points and opportunities for online improvements.
Help the marketing teams interpret and understand user feedback and provide input for design decisions.
Help transform the brand and bring it to life enabling a “digital first” experience
5-7 years as a user experience designer, user interface designer, or other equivalent title in web-based design and development.
Experience in e-commerce websites with a focus on conversion including landing pages, buying or shopping cart experiences, enrollments, registrations, customer engagement etc.
Experience designing email templates within a template driven platform (Salesforce, exacttarget, mailchimp, etc.) a plus.
Understanding of how business needs, content, SEO, and good UX all work together
Skilled in adapting experiences to match marketing personas
Proficient with wireframing tools (Adobe XD, Azure, or similar) and design software (Adobe CC)
Moderate to high proficiency with HTML and CSS and ability to work with existing sites, pages, or templates within a CMS or Marketing Automation Platform (Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
Demonstrated understanding of how underlying data drives better user experiences
BA in Interactive Design, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
