Our Mission at SCARC is to provide high quality services and supports to people with developmental disabilities and their families in Sussex County. We are now hiring a Supervisor to implement our mission and enrich the lives of young people with developmental disabilities enrolled in our "Just Us Kids" Family Support Program.
"Just Us Kids" is held 3 Saturdays per month 10:00am - 3:00pm
The Just Us Kids Supervisor will oversee staff and act as backup support when staff is unavailable. The Supervisor will also care for individuals at the program site, complete paperwork as required, and develop and maintain an ongoing relationship with parents.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with population with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of products, including demonstrated ability to access documents, enter and save data, and retrieve documents.
- 1-3 prior years of experience supervising staff.
- Ability to supervise group of staff and create positive team environment.
- Excellent written communication skills required.
- Must be very detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must display professionalism and a strong work ethic.
- Professional discretion and confidentiality required.
- Flexible, willing to assist others within organization as needed.
- Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Minimum requirement of high school diploma or GED.
- Current, valid, non-provisional driver’s license required.
- COVID vaccination and booster is required
