Responsible for the overall clinical management of the practice and program assigned to the practice as above, including direct supervision of all clinical providers (medical) and monitoring the practice and on site programs for meeting the organization’s access goals, quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, training programs, and research initiatives.

Responsible for maintaining a clinical practice at the assigned site and meeting all responsibilities of an attending physician. Allocation of administrative and clinical time is dependent upon the size and range of programs at the site and assigned by the Regional Medical Director

Schedule will include at least one evening session weekly and one weekend day monthly unless changed approved by supervisor

Direct supervision of all providers who are assigned to this practice as their primary site
Performs semiannual evaluations of all providers who are assigned to this practice as their primary site, and their annual competency evaluations
Organizes monthly meetings with providers with documented minutes of meetings
Participates in monthly office management meeting with nurse manager and office manager of site
Ability to collaborate with all other clinical discipline as applicable to the site (dental, psychiatry and other clinical staff)
Monitor and Manage Site Quality Performance
Demonstrates an understanding of health care systems and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve and optimize health care
Precepts residents, medical students, and other health professional trainees as appropriate


Graduate of an accredited medical school and an accredited residency program
NY State Medical License
Board Certified
Current BCLS
Current DEA Certificate
Basic computer and internet navigational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with Electronic Health Records Technology
Proficiency in conversational Spanish, preferred
