Mechanical Engineer (Fluidics)

Direct Responsibilities:
Design of fluidic systems and components used in semiconductor wafer process equipment creating and maintain fluid flow and facilities requirement drawings
Technical responsibilities from concept to detailed design, documentation, production support, and customer service support of all fluidic related items
Responsible for the mechanical design of fluidic related components needed to support the overall fluid system.
Recommend changes and/or improvements that result in better fluid management and increased product value, reliability, and cost effectiveness
Confer with other engineers, sales, and customers, to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
Assist and support manufacturing, with documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, and customer requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in designing fluid systems for semiconductor capital equipment used for wet chemical processing.
Proficient in concepts, practices, and theories used in the design of fluidic management systems for both compressible and non-compressible fluids.
Experience designing components and assemblies in plastics normally used in high purity environments.
Works independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
Experience working with component manufacturers and suppliers in choosing purchased components for potential integration into company’s products.
Experience working with other engineering disciplines (electrical, software, and process) to meet project objectives, deadlines, and overall company goals.
Strong skills designing with software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ProEngineer, or NX.
Self-motivated and goal oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
