Are you interested in positively impacting students’ lives? We are seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Psychology Adjunct Instructor(s) who are committed to student retention and success. Instructors are responsible for establishing and promoting an effective learning environment to maximize student learning.
Teach either Applied Psychology (Psychology of Adjustment—PSY101W) or Introduction to Psychology (PSY 211W). Day and/or evening or dual-enrollment sections. Sections are taught at a variety of dual enrollment partner sites as well as Delta’s main and downtown campuses (Saginaw, Midland and Bay City). Cooperate with discipline and general education assessment projects as appropriate. Potential for at least one section each semester, as schedules allow.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology; or Master’s Degree in related field and 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology.
Additional Experiences Considered
- College teaching, preferably community college
- Experiences working with high school students
- Doctoral degree
