Job Summary

Responsible for providing exemplary informal training and hands-on intermediate data program support and implementing innovative learning solutions that streamline operations, enable new capabilities, and ensure member hospitals achieve value. Critical to the success of this position is the ability to gain consensus, collaborate with subject matter experts, facilitate training sessions and webinars, and manage website content and effective communications.

Essential duties and responsibilities

SUPPORT

Provide exemplary, informal training and hands-on intermediate data program support while contributing to the success of innovative learning and support solutions for data programs and special analytic initiatives managed by the Data Product Operations team.

Proactively participate in daily training and support operations and special initiatives that ensure uninterrupted service to all stakeholders. Typically this includes, but is not limited to: user access, distributions lists, troubleshooting, ad hoc data requests, and utilization of resources

Provide informal training and coaching that assists members and staff in navigating our data programs, maximizing value through the use of standard reports, understanding data content, running standard reports, and creating ad hoc reports that support data analysis

Facilitate training and support activities associated with: onboarding of hospitals, webinars, and sales presentations

Manage resolution of support requests, collaborating with cross-department staff to provide comprehensive explanations

TRAINING

Facilitate instructor-led training sessions using a variety of techniques and resources, and contribute to the implementation of learning solutions that support classroom, hospital site visits, self-paced, and web-based learning for data programs and special analytic initiatives managed by the Data Product Operations team. Typically this includes, but is not limited to: standard and ad hoc reports, analytic tools, data content, data quality, and special projects.

Facilitate in-person and web-based training sessions for our data programs and special analytic initiatives using a variety of training techniques and resources

Coordinate training classroom logistics, includes but is not limited to: registration, room reservation, production materials, technical set-up, meals, travel, lodging, transportation, and class evaluation

Assist with key learning management activities, such as: user enrollment, setting up training sessions and managing rosters, maintaining reports, uploading course content, and assisting with testing

COMMUNICATIONS AND WEBSITE CONTENT

Manage website content and written and oral communications using various media, while collaborating with association staff to develop effective communications for data programs and special initiatives managed by the Data Product Operations team.

Provide professional written and oral communications that support phone calls, emails, presentations, webinars, website content, training resources, and conferences

Manage website content for our data programs in concert with the association web, communications, and marketing teams

Required Experience:
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s in business, healthcare, technology or related field is (required)

Experience and Special Skills:
Minimum of 5 years providing application and/or product support (required)

Minimum of 5 years facilitating and/or leading training sessions (required)

Experience with Business Objects or Tableau reporting software (preferred)

Experience in training analytics and/or business intelligence end users (preferred)

Healthcare experience (preferred)

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent presentation skills

Experience working with large relational databases

Strong aptitude for critical thinking, data analysis and problem solving skills

Strong time and project management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work in a team environment and independently

Physical requirements

Extensive periods of sitting and keyboard/computer work

Communicates in person and over the phone

May on occasion be required to lift packages up to 25 lbs.

Travel: Up to 10%
