Primary Title: Operations Specialist *Pending Award* OCONUS

Reports To: Operations Manager

Location: Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, or Qatar

Security Clearance: TOP Secret/SCI eligible

Purpose of the Position:
Manage Operations Center in support of the program requirements. Primary place of duty is the Operations Center once Battlefield Circulation is complete.

Principal Position Responsibilities:
Be intimately familiar and understand the GLS CENTCOM continuity book, the PWS, CDRLs, and PRS.
Be intimately familiar with all site locations and configurations. Be prepared to travel to all locations as needed.
Display strong, positive leadership; interact positively and professionally with linguists, staff, and customer.
Record current operations, assist in planning and execution of future operations. Document all activities and keep the Ops Mgr informed.
Primary maintenance of electronic database, insure data is up to date.
Insure Ops Mgr is briefed on essential activities.
Respond to data calls for required reports. Prepare SIRs for review.

Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in a job-related discipline or PMP certification. Three (3) years of experience in a related field may substituted for each year of college.

Experience Required:
Typically, six (6) years of experience with site management and operations.
Preferred knowledge and experience working with linguists as part of the US Army Intelligence and Security Command’s Contract Linguist Program
Experience with GLS’s primary customer; the US Military, as a civilian or member of the armed forces.
Work in an environment having a significant element of hazard and hardship.

Willingness to travel and work in various locations in the world
Willingness to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24/7 operations
U.S. military experience desired and / or experience with linguist program overseas
U.S. citizenship, U.S. passport, and ability to obtain TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance

FLSA Designation:

Ability to travel internationally

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Normally works in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions, however frequent travel / site visits are required (move about between locations on foot or by vehicle). Some location may be remote, high-risk, austere, and geographically diverse.
