"Share the Fare" has never been so literal as it is right now! Hawkers Asian Street Fare is seeking a highly creative, strategically minded, social media professional to join our rapidly growing organization. As the Social Media Manager, you will lead our social media strategy to drive consumer engagement, acquisition and conversion across all social platforms.
This isn't your average 9-to-5 social media desk job. You'll be actively visiting our Hawkers locations and events, eating and taking photos of great food, interviewing guests and staff, and interacting with Social Influencers and Media. You will be entrusted to champion the visual and written content that expresses our vibrant “street” inspired brand.
This role reports to the Marketing Director. You will work closely with the entire Creative and Marketing team, as well as our numerous internal partners and stakeholders.

Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages customer base to take action
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
Manage influencer outreach and campaigns
Develop and manage the social media content calendar
Stay current on industry news and developments so as to keep social channels fresh, maintain design standards, and adhere to channel regulations and best practices
Monitor social listening tools and identify opportunities to optimize social media strategy and/or Marketing plans
Provide and support a response protocol to address customer questions and other inquiries in a timely manner
Proactively manage social community to drive engagement and positive consumer sentiment
Foster internal "Brand Ambassadors" to support social media efforts
Analyze and track key performance metrics on a monthly and/or per-campaign basis, and provide actionable key takeaways and next steps

Qualifications & Requirements:
3+ years of social media experience, with proven results
An exceptional portfolio of self-produced content, photography, and creative assets is required upon application
BA/BS/BFA (or equivalent) in a related field such as Marketing, Communications, Creative
Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to capture the voice of a brand and execute uniquely across multiple platforms
Must be an experienced photographer with demonstrated skills in indoor and outdoor photography, a variety of challenging lighting scenarios, working with models, and a flair for journalistic candid shots
Exceeds at building and maintaining social media influencer relationships, online and off
Experience and working knowledge of social media, scheduling publishing, optimizing, and reporting analytics tools
Proficient in Google Adwords, Bing, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (Certifications preferred)
Proficient Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms (Certifications preferred, but not required)
Experience in building and optimizing paid social media campaigns
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Video editing skills, are a major plus!
