Position Summary and Responsibilities
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Therapist is responsible for providing intensive group therapy for assigned patients according to their individual needs. The IOP therapist completes individual assessments and assigns treatment goals accordingly. The IOP therapist also completes individual and family therapy as needed, completes all necessary paperwork per policy, consults with other treating providers, and serves as a support and resource for the inpatient hospital, as needed.

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field
Experience: Requires a minimum of two (2) years experience in social work and three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and related treatment modalities. The IOP therapist must have strong clinical assessment skills and working knowledge of the DSM.
License: LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC, required. LCAC or other equivalent Chemical Dependency Certification, preferred.
Preferred Requirements: The therapist may be required to work flexible hours. Must maintain paneling/credentialing for reimbursement.
