Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented Test Conductor located in Redondo Beach, CA with responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Responsible to ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests. Responsible for testing all customer samples. Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management. Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports. Selects and supervises technicians during test. Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 2 years of experience as a Test Conductor or an Engineer; ORHigh School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D) plus 6 years of experience as a Test Conductor or an Engineer; OR High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D) plus 10 years of experience in Testing or as a Technician .
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
Familiarity with other electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and Digital multimeters a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot test set and deliverable hardware required.
Ability to generate and support disposition of discrepancy documentation.
Ability to adhere to local processes, procedures, and protocols
Ability to safely handle and mate/demate cables, harnesses and waveguide and associated connectors and support equipment.
Ability to perform manual labor including but not limited to lifting and moving heavy test equipment, trench covers, often heavy cables and harnessing
Familiarity with System Integration Test and Evaluation and processes and procedures or equivalent
Familiarity with database maintenance, test script and test procedure development.
