Position Overview

The Project Manager will manage a variety of key internal projects, including construction of Nautilus Data Technologies data center facilities, deployment of building management systems, new site identification, permitting and pre-construction, data center compliance certification, and implementation of OSS/BSS applications. The Project Manager will work with project cross-discipline owners to prepare scopes of work, milestones, tasks, timelines, project dependencies, project budgets and quality control check-points. Additionally, the Project Manager will establish projects in the project tracking software, assign action items, monitor project progress and identify risks, report on all project aspects, and prepare project status reports for management. The Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are achieved within scope and budget. The position will also assist in defining and implementing internal and external change control procedures, including securing customer approvals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer project management software
  • Develop project review meeting agendas and lead project review discussions
  • Engage project stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, milestones and tasks
  • Develop, communicate and manage project action plans
  • Manage task owners to completion of their assigned task
  • Develop standard online reports that provide management insight to project statuses
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Proactively identify and communicate changes to project scope, schedule and/or cost
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Escalate project variances to management as needed

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum four-years of related work experience
  • Experience with Teamwork Projects or Microsoft Projects
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present project information concisely and effectively
  • Outgoing personality capable of confidently interacting with all level of the organization

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Formal project management training
  • PMP certification
  • Experience in data center industry

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 /year
