Job Overview:
Our nationally-recognized, award-winning premier kayak tour company is rapidly expanding in the Austin area! We are looking for outgoing, eco-loving individuals to be lead tour guides that are available to work sunset, evening, and weekend tours.
Qualifications:
- Must have kayaking experience (professional or recreational)
- A passion for being outdoors and willingness to learn.
- Customer service oriented and outgoing.
- College students are encouraged to apply.
- Comfortable and confident on the water
- Available multiple days of week/weekend
- Able to lift 50 pounds (kayaks) - REQUIRED
- Must be able to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down of kayaks and launch area.
- Give guided eco tours in Austin, TX.
- Provide relevant information about the tour/area. (Training will be provided)
- Ensure safety for all guests and help assist in paddling technique and skill.
