Responsibilities & Duties:
He/she is responsible for daily leadership of line production employees. Working with Supervisors, Quality Assurance, Mechanics and Line employees to efficiently and safely produce high quality products below costs. The candidate will be trained and expected to meet the necessary qualifications for certification (i.e. fork truck).
High school or GED diploma – Preferred 2 yrs. college degree or associate
Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish (written, orally and reading).
Computer skills – Excel & Word documents.
Able to direct others
Problem solving experience
Basic mechanical skills (aptitude, problem solving while working previously with the machine (s))
Standing 8 hours shifts
Environment temperature can fluctuate
Plant environment would have strong smell of vinegar and/or spices
Physical Demand Classification (PDC): Reaching, handling, fingering, high repetition, twisting, turning.
