Full Job Description
Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience in operating and setting up CNC turning lathes.
- Install and properly align all tooling required to set up new and repeat jobs.
- Prove-out new CNC programs and processes.
- Familiar with turning tooling with knowledge of metal cutting parameters.
- Knowledge of machine controls, program codes, fixtures and tool offsets, and CNC systems.
- Utilize all necessary gauges and equipment to properly inspect parts.
- Evaluate first piece inspection reports and make any necessary changes.
- Make dimensional offset adjustments and or tools changes as needed, in addition to monitoring general quality and workmanship standards.
- Understand, calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as the speed, feed, and coolant flow, able to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust the machine controls as needed.
- Responsible for the operation of multiple machines at the same time.

Experience/Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- G-Code Programming is a plus
- Machinist Certification or current machinist school experience is a plus
