I.T. Support Technician

MetaTechnical - Narberth, PA


We are looking for all of the following positions, and are interested in your intelligence as much as your education/experience. Salary depends on skill level, availability, personality, and ambition.

Level-1 Technician (aka Tier 1: basic IT expertise required)

Level-2 Technician (aka Tier 2: requires networking knowledge and experience)

Level-3 Technician (aka Tier 3: requires advanced networking knowledge and experience)

Applicants must be familiar with:

  • Windows 7-10, Mac OS, Linux
  • PC Hardware, RAID arrays, etc.
  • Security Software, Photoshop, etc.
  • Networking, TCP/IP, encryption, etc.

Applicants must possess:

  • keen intelligence
  • strong English skills
  • college degree or equivalent
  • enjoyment of problem-solving
  • access to a car (and valid driver's license)
  • attention to detail (did you read this? incl. the phrase "A-Team" in your application)

Responsibilities may include:

  • PC setups & cleanups
  • data backups, transfers, HDD clones
  • researching & ordering equipment
  • hardware replacements & upgrades
  • phone support / consulting
  • basic tutoring / instruction
  • server maintenance
  • custom PC builds
  • driver installations
  • wireless network setups
  • computer pickups and drop-offs
  • troubleshooting hardware & software issues
  • smart-home/business automation setups
  • security camera installations, etc.
