OVERVIEW OF ROLEOur elementary school (Match Community Day) has an opening for a Lower Elementary Lead Teachers (K-2nd Grade). Lead Teachers are fully responsible for the growth and achievement of the student in their class (we have 18 students/class in Pre-K and Kindergarten and 24 students/class in grades 1-5). Lead Teachers are supported in the classroom by associate teachers, special education staff, or aides.
The positions are based at our elementary school campus on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park. We are only able to consider applicants who have current US work authorization.The salary range for teachers new to Match is $61,819-98,899 and is determined by the candidates prior years of full-time teaching experience.
