Full Job Description
Apply expertise in health care operations to assist clients with the process of continuous assessment and systematic improvement of health care policy, planning, and delivery. Apply management consulting and data analytics skills to support the Military Health System (MHS) and other federal clients. Conduct qualitative and quantitative reviews of healthcare operations and clinical care, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions for implementation. Transform analysis into reports and recommendations that can be shared and used to inform policies and practices. Assist with the development of leadership briefings to share outcomes, best practices, challenges, and recommendations. Support the MHS' goal of improvement of health data management and integration. Ensure that all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques.
1+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and data visualization software
Knowledge of healthcare systems and institutions
Ability to adapt quickly to changing client priorities and respond to ad-hoc requests
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience with working in a direct client-facing consulting role and building trust with clients and excellent working relationships with onsite staff
Experience with healthcare quality and safety
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
MA or MS degree in Clinical, Public Health, Health Data Management, or Healthcare Administration
