The Digital Asset Manager will lead NVIDIA’s overall global DAM strategy, implementation and workflows, as well as develop best practices associated with managing creative digital assets from end to end. You will collaborate with teams globally to strategize process efficiencies and optimization and speed to market. Manage the day to day operations of system, metadata and rights management application. Liaise with global teams to ensure the right assets are made available and tagged for appropriate channel / media usage. You will support the digital asset lifecycle, from creation and ingestion by designers to the point of internal or external asset consumption.
What you'll be doing:
Implement and maintain new DAM system.
Drive backlog and functional improvements to the DAM solution.
Establish a global and cross-branded DAM network of DAM experts
Develop and implement strategy associated with the cataloging, annotating (metadata schema & taxonomies), storage, retrieval and distribution of NVIDIA’s digital assets which include photography, videos, packaging and online assets.
Act as system librarian and develop best practices for the creation and management of metadata. Define file naming system that are rigorous and scalable, allowing users to quickly search and discover marketing assets
Collaborate across internal departments and regions in the development and modification of digital workflows as well as external partners to gain further efficiencies.
Responsible for daily operations of ingesting, curating, organizing, and general asset maintenance and management in the DAM system, and associated issue management.
Responsible for digital asset lifecycle maintenance including asset expiration and digital archiving
Partner with the dev. ops. team to establish and maintain standardized framework and upgrades to DAM System as needed.
Track and analyze key performance indicators to determine workflow and systems effectiveness.
Manage data administrators in proper maintenance of assets in order to assure a current and up to date centralized global repository.
Ensure proper translation of contractual information into rights management module in DAM to allow end users a clear understanding of available usage(s).
Educate and facilitate proper usage of DAM system across all departments and regions.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Library Sciences.
5 plus year experience building DAM information architecture and taxonomies.
Rights management experience, including understanding model usage cataloguing, restrictions, timing, and distribution
Experience collaborating and communicating with diverse stakeholders (Web, Creative, Product Management, Marketing, Legal, Site Merchandising, PR, and Sales)
Superb communication skills to swiftly negotiate and build consensus.
Incredible attention to detail; self-motivated and well organized in a fast passed environment.
Strong knowledge and experience with the Adobe Marketing Cloud, knowledge of web and creative development
Ability to solve problems and resolve hardware and software issues
