Performs diversified administrative duties supporting the functional and operational needs of Health System learning center operations, including the Patient Safety Institute, Emergency Medical Institute, and Clinical Skills Center.
Supports daily operations of learning center to ensure a professional learning environment that promotes service excellence.
Welcomes and escorts visitors to meeting place within learning center, offers refreshments and arranges transportation, as required.
Facilitates student registration for learning activities, and generation and distribution of course completion certificates.
Ensures all areas are prepared with appropriate supplies and materials.
Maintains academic and event calendars, reports activities to management.
Collaborates with management, instructors, vendors and students to schedule and confirm course dates and activities.
Monitors student registration and course selection through department’s on-line registration platform.
Schedules and coordinates various department meetings, site tours, retreats, etc.
Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports and presentation materials, including preparing charts, graphs and tables, as necessary.
Processes corporate credit card purchases. Orders department supplies and maintains inventory par levels.
Assists management with administrative duties related to department per-diem timekeeping.
Answers, screens and directs calls. Takes and delivers messages.
Types various correspondence, reports, etc.
Provides backup support to administrative/clerical team members, as needed.
Performs related duties, as required.
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
Completion of CAP, FTD, Emotional Intelligence, and/or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator courses, preferred.
Minimum of three (3) year related administrative / secretarial experience, required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, required.
Strong organizational skills, required.
