You will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of communications strategies and tactics for the Company’s HR function. Provide internal consulting to HR leaders on communications best practices to ensure employment engagement; and develop and execute corresponding communications plans and material. He/she will work closely with functional leaders on change management initiatives while counseling on communicating synergies and alignment among key company priorities, including Health Care, Comp and Benefits, Staffing, Honeywell Global Security, Procurement, and the Company’s focus on Diversity. Drive content for key internal meetings such as executive global town halls and the function’s HR Conference. You will also support the Company’s annual leadership meeting, as well as other functional projects as needed. Play a leadership role in measuring effectiveness of communications and executing actions for continuous improvement. Work closely with global Comms leader and other group members to fully leverage the Honeywell intranet, providing guidance on developing, updating, and calendarizing content

Strategic and tactical communications strategy development and execution for HR

Lead planning and content development for the HR Conference and Quarterly HR Town Halls

Develop written materials (messaging, Q&As, remarks, etc.) for use with employees, managers, and the HR organization

A bachelor's degree in journalism or communications
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated successful experience in internal/external corporate communications or an agency environment
Experience developing and managing digital programs, content and editorial performance
Strong grammatical writing skills, with ability to develop clear, concise messages
This position also requires the ability to think strategically and provide communication counsel, and assist in developing plans to drive results
Be able to proactively identify issues that would result in employee dissatisfaction and recommend and execute actions to eliminate or minimize impact
Providing effective leadership for communications specialists and working effectively across SBG and corporate functions is essential
Candidate should have an understanding of business processes and vernacular
Knowledge of HR, compensation and benefits programs and strategies is desired
