Job Overview:

The IT Innovation Specialist is part of the ITF Global innovation team leading and supporting within the Americas region to make ITF the best and most innovative provider of digital finance and mobility services. Scout, identify and evaluate specific business opportunities as well as innovative technologies. Attend conferences, startup events, pitches etc. to scout for the best technology. Develop showcases and PoCs for new products and technologies, with the goal of scaling them in our organization. Implementation of digital solutions based on alignment with different stakeholders on a global scale. Initiating and maintaining relationships with key internal and external partners. Working very independently, but in close collaboration with the regional ITF teams and the Global IT Innovation Manager.

Responsibilities:

Drive early adoption of new technologies via scouting for technology driven startups and by translating technical concepts into relevant use cases. Bring ideas for new technologies from concept to running pilots, and facilitate broad adoption within our organization. Enhance the innovative ecosystem of our company with internal and external partners, especially from the regional and global startup scene. Support the evaluation process of new partners by screening and scouting trends and technologies, particularly companies – together with relevant stakeholders when applicable. (60%)

Represent ITF/A in global initiatives and share innovative technologies within our organization to ensure global scalability of solutions and close alignment with different regions and international offices Validate the integration of new technologies, modules, services or applications within the existing application landscape. (35%)

Verify compliance with company standards with support and collaboration with the local organization. (5%)

Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:
  • Information Technology - 5+ years of experience
  • Business - General- 1+ years of experience
  • Marketing - 1+ years of experience
Additional Experience:
  • Working with startups Lean / Agile product delivery methods
Education:

A Bachelors' degree is required for this role. Masters' degree preferred. Recommended majors:
  • Computer/Information Science
  • Information Technology
Skills:
  • Analytical Skills - Ability to collect data and establish facts identify trends and variances; Ability to integrate information form a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity; Ability to review and interpret and evaluate statistical information.
