This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced individual to build the Intel’s discrete Graphic Processing Unit story from the ground up, engage key customers, and drive sell in and sell out.

The Head of Community Marketing, Graphics and Visual Technologies role will play an important role in this transformation, delivering on a global vision of building an array of highly engaged global communities in the gaming, professional graphics and datacenter GPU markets, grounded in data-informed audience insights, communities that will be central to the deployment of thought leadership activities, and for advocating for the Intel’s discrete Graphic Processing Unit brand. This role is critical internally across digital marketing teams, regional teams, business units and externally with our agency partners. It requires a mindset of strategic agility, ability to innovate, collaborative to enable the community building practice in regions, and adaptable to operationally to accommodate Intel's business priorities.

We have evolved the way we engage with audiences and use a variety of platforms to build deeper and meaningful relationships. Community building is at the heart of that 1:1 engagement. There is a great starting point for this position, and the opportunity to take it to the next level, through strong strategies, using new and innovative approaches, and leveraging more of the data to build the insights to connect closer to our audiences, and building content programs designed for community channels.

Our marketing teams work collaboratively across groups, with our BU partners, as well as our sales teams. This role requires a "roll up your sleeves" type of person willing to get into the details, and also provide the leadership to manage a team of community managers. We have a can do approach in everything we do, and strong relationships to get things done.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Work cross-functionally to identify, build, engage and educate a community of passionate graphics technology and brand advocates and users across a wide cross-section of regions and markets, including owned and non-owned social channels
This individual will use insights about our audiences, best known methods, sales & marketing KPIs to build and align the strategy to desired business outcomes.
This manager is responsible for the content requirements and the content delivery for the program. They will work internally and with external agencies to create the best content for the outcomes for our campaigns, sales enablement programs, or initiatives.
This person should be able to inspire, coach and lead both the internal Intel community managers & the agency partners to push boundaries, take a test and learn approach, take managed risks and exceed expectations across the KPIs that we've set.
In everything we do at Intel in marketing, we take a data-driven approach with relentless focus on finding and adopting new ways to use data in audience insights, activation and measurement that lead to better integrated customer journeys, stronger community building plans and more relevant content creation. This person needs to have an appreciation for how data informs strategy, how we use it for optimization, and how we hold ourselves accountable to the results.
There are many teams involved in our community marketing practices. This person needs to be able to collaborate across teams, seeking new ways for the reach / engagement, and finding ways to reduce redundancy. We use paid media paid social to amplify content and reach our audiences. This person should have an appreciation for that integration and how media is an extension of our social strategy and be a great partner to those extended teams.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree, post-graduate accreditation in a related field and 6+ years of demonstrated extraordinary ability in technology community building, including both B2C and B2B.

You should have 6+ years of experience with the following:
Demonstrated impact in identifying and building a highly engaged global technology and applications community, and a keen understanding of best communication practices with key B2B and B2C communities
Deep experience across all digital particularly advertising, programmatic, social, search, content marketing
Experience in a global model planning or executing community campaigns across multiple marketing groups and countries
Knowledge of editorial tools like Spredfast and Opal.
Understands the strategic value that operations, process and tools can bring to the paid media capability
Graphics, pro graphics, graphics compute and gaming technology experience required
