Farmacia La Unica is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Sugar Land, TX area.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Farmacia La Unica. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. Your knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will contribute to the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescribed medications to patients.
- Prepare and package medications for distribution.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization of medications and supplies.
- Process and enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service, by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date records of prescription orders and patient information.
- Adhere to all relevant pharmacy regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, managing cash registers and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program is preferred.
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures and medication handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software system.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Experience:
- Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)
