Our Network office is located at 401 W. 218th St., New York, NY 10034. Our Network team follows a hybrid work schedule as their scope of work permits. This role can expect to be in person 2-4 days per week most weeks, with Tuesdays and Thursdays as required in-person days for the full team. This role may also include occasional in-person work days at Zeta's other school sites across NYC.
To achieve our vision, we are searching for a stellar Network Operations & Events Associate, with a Bachelor's Degree and at least 1-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and lifelong learner with a problem-solving mindset and impeccable time management and project management skills, as well as strong, proactive communication habits. Though not required, experience working as an event planner and/or executive assistant is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Network team events (at least 1/month during the school year, including happy hours, holiday celebrations, picnics, etc.), including securing venues and/or catering, negotiating with and managing vendors, overseeing event set-up/clean-up, and ensuring a "wow" experience for teammates
- Manage logistics for weekly Network meetings, including room/chair set-up and technology; support the COO and Manager of Executive Strategy to create meeting materials as needed
- Manage Zeta Network team offices to ensure materials and workroom snacks/coffee/tea remain adequately stocked; place orders as assigned; escalate facilities issues to the Facilities team for quick resolution; ensure space is organized and clean
- Plan and execute all-staff events, including quarterly all-hands meetings with the CEO and Zeta's annual holiday and end-of-year staff celebrations; for larger events, oversee Network volunteers and "Happiness Helpers" in executing the event
- Organize, manage, and provide administrative support for special projects and events; undertake research projects and collect and analyze data as background for meetings and special projects
- Support board meetings and other external meetings or special events (e.g., printing, room set-up, catering oversight, etc.)
- Other tasks and projects as assigned, as part of a lean Executive Strategy Team supporting Zeta's CEO and COO

We are hiring for an immediate opening. The salary range for this position is between $62,500 and $75,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near this level, depending on relevant experience and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales.
