Due to continued growth, our Training Group has a new part-time opportunity for a Training Logistics Coordinator in our Chicago, IL office. The hours for this role are 10am-2pm Monday-Friday.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Schedules and administers offerings through the organizational learning management software (LMS).
Records class participation in the LMS and issues follow up correspondence as necessary through MS Outlook.
Interfaces with all levels of colleagues to coordinate upcoming classes and vendor presentation schedules.
Reserves organizational rooms through Outlook at various locations to accommodate learning offerings.
Distributes sign in sheets, makes lunch arrangements, and coordinates AV preparations.
Performs other training professional duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:
This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and three or more years of administrative experience.
Multi-tasking abilities for several learning activities taking place concurrently.
Possesses a basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Communicates information professionally and responds to requests in a timely manner.
Reads, writes, and speaks English fluently.
Demonstrates good judgment to carry out instructions given in written or verbal form.
Demonstrates computer proficiency as related to duties of the position.
Capable of stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or lifting on occasion (typically 10 pounds or less).
Operates office equipment on a regular basis such as a computer with mouse and monitor; printer, copier, telephone, fax machine, etc. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Valued but not required skills and experience:
Some college level education in fields such as English, Writing or Journalism.
Experience working in the Engineering and/or power industry field.
