Castleton Commodities International is an independent global commodities merchant. As a trader, CCI deploys capital on a proprietary basis in the physical and financial commodity markets, providing the Company with market insights and access. As a strategic investor and developer, CCI leverages its market expertise, operations capabilities, and industry knowledge to invest in, and develop, select commodity infrastructure assets.
This position will work closely with CIO to drive customer centric execution IT Culture. This position will hold global responsibility for leading and managing Energy Trading & Risk Management Systems (Commodity XL, Softmar, Entegrate), and vertically integrated asset portfolio for Natural Gas & Power. This role will have significant interaction with senior leaders across the organization and will be the driver of IT strategy across both CCI’s trading and asset businesses. In addition, this position will have significant exposure to M&A activities and candidates must have prior experience driving the IT due diligence, budgeting, and integration processes associated.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years experience leading and managing applications and strategy with global expertise and a prior exposure to commodity trading. This position requires someone who can recommend a strategy and build alignment and support from internal trading desks/ commercial leaders and senior management including the CIO. They must also be hands on with execution of initiatives and project deliverables. Work closely with internal trading desks/commercial leaders around building budgeting and allocations related to their IT services.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field ideally from a top tier University.
MBA highly preferred.
Proven experience partnering closely with trading leaders/commercial management and senior management (C Suite)
Prior experience working in the Commodities industry is required. Experience in Financial Services/Trading environments is a must.
15+ years of progressive experience in IT applications.
