THE JOB:
As a Spa Receptionist, you will warmly welcome guests to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. You will manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls to the appropriate spa staff, and handle general email inquiries. Additionally, you will coordinate appointments and schedule conference calls, maintain the reception area to reflect a pristine and serene environment, and keep track of any guest needs or equipment issues, ensuring smooth operations for a luxurious spa experience.
THE STARTING RATE: $15/hr
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department.
Respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff.
Schedule conference calls and meetings for office staff.
Maintain all office equipment as needed and coordinates repairs.
Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary.
Ensure that the Receptionist area is clean and looks neat for all incoming guests.
Inform management of all guest issues, needed supplies or equipment related issues.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Prior experience in face-to-face customer service.
Experience handling multi-line phones and various administrative tasks.
Knowledgeable of a Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star and AAA 5-Diamond rating and their importance.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.
Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally.
Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts/hours as needed including weekends and holidays as required per ON CALL status.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
Must be able to obtain alcohol awareness and food handlers card prior to starting if offered the role.
