This position will combine a traditional Patient Care Coordinator role with some focus on marketing and clinic outreach. The main responsibility will be to assist in guiding the patient from the point of initial contact with Klarity, through the initial consult, and then ensuring a smooth transition to beginning treatment.
Additionally, the PCC will serve as a liaison to the medical community and will be tasked with representing Klarity at various events and functions and building a relationship with outside referral sources such as Psychiatrists, Family Physicians, Nurse Practioners, Counselors, Therapists, etc.
As the initial point of contact for Klarity, the PCC role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure a positive representation of the company to the public and medical community. The PCC will manage a database of patient and provider contacts to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual consultation and treatment quotas.
Position Details:
- Receive all new patient phone calls
- Educate patients on treatment options
- Discuss cost, insurance coverage, and savings programs
- Schedule initial consultations with Klarity Providers
- Complete checklist and required documentation for all initial consultations
- Communicate effectively with front desk, provider, prior authorization specialist and other team members to ensure a smooth transition from initial contact to consult completion and treatment initiation
- Outreach to other healthcare providers and referral sources. Build rapport and educate through meetings, presentations, community events, etc.
