Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer to provide on-site technical support to a Department of Defense ("DoD") Military Health program.
The program supports the Defense Health Agency’s (“DHA’s”) development of its TRICARE Managed Care Support (“MCS”) requirements for health care support services. These services encompass customer and call center support activities, as well as referrals/authorizations and claims adjudications, among other areas, related to DoD heath care throughout the United States. Specifically, the program would provide health care support services that integrate private-sector care within the DoD direct-care system, serving approximately 9.2 million active duty personnel, active duty family members, retired military members and their families, and survivor beneficiaries.

Provide software and systems QA testing expertise
Work closely with developers, professional services team, and product managers to define methodology required for applications development and/or systems integration in a reliable and scalable environment
Design test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and test data
Document test cases pertaining to various components of the solution
Provide oversight and work closely with team to automate test cases
Execute testing on both web front-end and back-end systems. Ability to test at an API level such as via Web Services, MQ, or other back-end service
Run test validations at various levels, including DB validation, logging validation, and UI validation
Participate in the delivery and presentation of software
Developing and maintaining automation infrastructure and environment
Find report and follow up on defects found using using automation using our defect tracking tool
Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, incorporating this information into test plans and test cases
Must have at least 3-5 years of software and/or IT system QA experience
Must have 1 year of Web Services testing experience
Experience automating test cases
Must have experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases
Must have experience and understand fundamental concept of Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, User Acceptance Testing
Experience in developing QA plans as well as translating them into test cases and executing them
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a clearance
Must be technical, creative, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Strong written and communication skills
