The HP Commercial PC Business Unit is driving market leading innovation and performance in the dynamic Commercial PC Market. To further enable our success, Commercial PC Business Operations has built a Cost Excellence team chartered to take full advantage of HP’s capability to drive industry leading costs into all Commercial PC Products. We have an immediate opening for a Analyst, Displays & Accessories (D&A) Cost Management reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial PC Cost Strategy. This critical role will require a solid understanding of Personal Computing design, components, cost drivers, and will engage heavily with stakeholder organizations to drive cost excellence.

Execute/drive the Cost Management Process focused on end-to-end costs (3rd party accessories, docking, panels, non material) including regular stakeholder reviews and preparation of cost analytics/dashboards to create visibility and drive improvement
Engage with stakeholder organizations in R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, and Finance to align product cost targets with product requirements and business objectives before and during and after RFQ processes
Support product development processes by creating and managing the ability to analyze cost scenarios under differing design and procurement approaches
Working with procurement/supply chain, provide the BPS organization with a better understanding of the impact of future projected costs associated with key commodities, components, and non-material items to support business analysis and planning functions
Participate in analysis projects to better understand cost competitiveness of HP products below the system level, focusing on key technologies, components, commodities. Enable linkages between product management and supply chain to drive competitive advantage.

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Responsibilities:
Manages a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis and planning, demand management, logistics management, and import/export operations typically with a large or complex global business unit.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.
Independently executes the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
Gathers demand data from country, region and account managers to synthesize information using complex analyses, and delivers demand signals to the supply base to contribute to demand forecasting.
Coordinates or leads regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations.
Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams.

Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
Typically 4-6 years of experience in product management, procurement operations, procurement engineering, supply chain, engineering or finance

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
Very strong analytical and data modeling skills.
Very Strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
Proven relationship management skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
Strong project management skills to lead cross-functional teams; recognized as Subject Matter Expert.
Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
Strong Understanding of HP's overall supply chain strategy.
Developed leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management.
