Job Summary:

We're looking for a Senior .NET Developer to help guide development of our internal application for Facilities and Construction management. We have a huge backlog of interesting work and opportunities to improve the existing application, without cumbersome bureaucratic barriers you see at larger organizations. The development group is small but growing rapidly. This affords each developer the chance to make a big difference. Our stack currently includes ASP.NET/C#, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, SQL Server and more. We're constantly evaluating other technologies to integrate into the landscape, particularly as our business and IT strategy matures.

Essential Functions:

This is a full stack development position with the additional expectation to provide technical leadership within their team. You’ll be involved in all phases of the development life-cycle. Your tasks will include:

  • Application design and architecture
  • Integration with other systems (custom and 3rd party) in the environment
  • Full Stack Development
  • Project management, including:
  • Project planning, corresponding to strategic priorities
  • Delegating tasks within your team
  • Providing estimates
  • Working with stakeholders in the business
  • Producing technical documentation
  • Help drive adoption of best practices within the development group

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of technical leadership responsibilities being responsible for mentoring junior developers
  • 8+ years with work on large enterprise applications and code bases north of 1M+ LoC
  • 8+ years professional application development
  • 8+ years in C# ASP.NET (MVC or Web API)
  • Hands-on experience with Web Forms conversion to MVC LINQ/C#
  • Entity Framework
  • 8+ years developing JavaScript, frameworks or a wrapper language (e.g. TypeScript, etc.)
  • Web Front End technologies (HTML5 / CSS) and a CSS Framework such as Bootstrap
  • All phases of SDLC
  • Agile methodologies
  • Angular / TypeScript
  • Experience with SQL Server 2014+
  • Experience with table architecture, design, optimization and normalization
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and tuning at large.
  • Jira Other Experience
  • Experience Developing Applications in Facilities or Construction Management industries
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable or Receivables
  • Cloud Native Development of Applications end to end (Azure)
  • Web Assembly
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to multitask
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement (both technical and process)
  • Ability to collaborate across teams
