7A FT 4A: The Unit Secretary coordinates clerical support activities to patient care teams and acts as a focal point of communication within nursing units. Duties include answering telephones, filing, greeting visitors, electronic data entry and assisting with documentation.
Post-secondary education or vocational training in healthcare field and familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
