Job Description
- Under supervision of the human resources manager, the Human Resources Generalist will perform work of moderate difficulty in the human resources department. Primary duties will include Benefit Administration, Employee Information Management, Recruiting and/or other HR functions. This role requires interacting with many levels of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with operations and all other areas within the organization to ensure the appropriate staffing levels. Assisting with resume reviewing and conducting interviews. Must ensure activities follow all state and federal employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, etc.)
- Participate in the completion of annual benefits open enrollment and weekly payroll.
- Update all required company reports monthly.
- Ensures that the employee information center is up to date with current job postings, active employee listing, current company news, required union reporting, and federal and state laws.
- Manages new hire orientation.
- Maintains and processes Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and potential changes.
- Maintenance of strict confidentiality and security of records including HRIS, computer software systems, and filing systems.
- Collaborates with upper management and helps in planning company events.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Human Resources Management or five (5) years of work-related experience.
- Strong organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload efficiently and with high detail orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Paylocity.
- Union experience preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
