Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team. As a Psychotherapist, you will work with individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges and provide them with the necessary support and guidance to improve their well-being. We have both full and part time positions available with ability to have either a salaried or productivity position.
Duties:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients to assess their mental health needs and develop treatment plans
Typically 45-1 HR sessions
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and art therapy, to help clients address their emotional and psychological issues
Use modalities that you are comfortable with
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
- Provide crisis intervention services for clients in immediate distress or experiencing a mental health crisis
- Conduct clinical research and stay updated on the latest advancements in psychotherapy to enhance treatment approaches
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation
- Advocate for clients' rights and assist them in accessing community resources
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Valid state licensure as a Psychotherapist: LCSW, LMFT, LPC
- Proven experience in providing psychotherapy services to individuals with diverse backgrounds and mental health conditions
- In-depth knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding for insurance purposes
- Strong crisis management skills to effectively handle emergency situations
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
