Mi9 Retail's Miami office is seeking a Financial Planning and Analyst to join our team!
What you'll be doing
Analyze business and financial data to support strategic business decisions.
Perform actuals verses budget projections and generate reports for management.
Assist in preparing monthly financial forecasts, yearly financial budgets, quarterly board materials and reports.
Create and analyze performance metrics to identify key drivers for expenses, revenues and business risks.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business operations.
Create financial forecasting model to support financial forecasting and planning processes.
Liaise between finance and non-finance teams to support data collection, cross company initiatives, infrastructure development and process improvements.
Work with other members of functional teams to compare monthly performance with projected targets and to draw business conclusions.
Evaluate financial and business performances to provide appropriate improvement solutions.
Assist in due diligence process for company acquisitions
What you'll bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, MBA preferred.
2-5 years of experience in a similar Corporate Finance or FP&A role.
Prior experience working for a Private Equity Sponsor a bonus.
Expert-level Excel skills.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
Professional business partnering and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results highlighting the broader commercial and strategic impact.
Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities.
Demonstrated experience in utilizing knowledge of accounting and forecasting concepts in developing financial projections.
