Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for a Rental Coordinator for our Dulles branch.
The Rental Coordinator is responsible for generating income by coordinating all Rental activities at the service branch. Responds to inquiries from internal and/or external customers regarding equipment and pricing, providing technical support on rental products when needed. Receives all orders, assigns equipment and processes shipping tickets and rental contracts, ensuring required approvals are received. Coordinates the delivery/pick-ups of all rental equipment with the Transportation Department. Works with Lead Technicians and Shop Supervisors to schedule prep and service work. Conducts cash/credit transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Invoices all orders on a timely basis, assigns correct account numbers and forwards to Accounting. Maintains the accuracy of Rental equipment inventory in database. Works with Supervisor on restocking inventory. Keeps accurate log of incoming/outgoing calls. Ensures proper display of Rental equipment in the yard. Performs various other duties as assigned.
A minimum of one year of experience working in a Rental, Sales, or Sales Support role. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be proficient with MS Office applications and have excellent organization and time management skills.
