Trimble is looking for a Product Marketing Analyst to fill an opportunity in Westminster, CO.
The Product Marketing Analyst is a strategic role that is key to defining and driving go to market strategy. The Product Marketing Analyst reports to the Product Marketing Manager who is responsible for the creation and ownership of core product messaging, sales tools, product launches and sales enablement content. This role will also support development and execution of the go-to-market plan. You will be the primary source of market data sourcing and interpretation, competitive analysis, voice of customer and market outreach, enabling the team to make informed decisions. You will also work closely with Marcom and Product Management in order to schedule and deliver marketing plans. The successful candidate will report to the Product Marketing Manager, and will be responsible for the following:
Quantitative external and internal market research, including gathering data from sales, finance, marketing, product managers, as well as from external data sources (hoovers)
Support in setting up salesforce structure and salesforce data analysis
Qualitative market research including management of a customer involvement
Organizing, launching and analyzing market surveys with internal and external stakeholders
Work with development to establish programs/algorithms to simplify quantitative research
Work together with Marcom to schedule and deliver marketing activities, including articles, blogs, webinars, brochures, etc.
Create competitive analysis, market sizing and market saturation
Make business recommendations from data analysis
BS/BA degree required, preferably in marketing or business
2+ years in an analytical and/or marketing role
Salesforce experience is a plus, especially with reports and dashboards
Strong research capabilities with the curiosity & creativity to identify and integrate new information in to compelling, actionable analysis output
Communication skills (giving small group presentations, active listening, ability to build understanding of the analysis, and support across functions and at all levels)
Good knowledge of databases and big data analysis
Experience with common research tools like SWOT analysis, balanced scorecard, etc.
Ability to work across multiple remote team
Passionate about understanding customer problems and “capturing the voice of the customer”
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel
Adapts to fast-paced and exciting environment
