NVIDIA is looking for world-class software engineers to join the CUDA driver team for next generation products in the embedded and automotive domains.
In this role, you will
Review, create, communicate and maintain accelerated compute features
Contribute to the development of exciting new areas like autonomous driving and robotics
Participate in development of proprietary and open computing standards
Collaborate closely with an international team on day to day development and design
The candidate should be a strong system programmer, with a working knowledge of the internals of complex operating systems using multicore CPUs and virtual memory. An ideal candidate has experience writing device drivers for a variety of embedded devices, and working with embedded OS kernels; designing solutions, adding features, fixing bugs, or tuning kernels and other system software for size and speed.
Candidate should be comfortable working in a team spread across the world, be a great communicator, and have the skills and experience to help us deliver high quality software on a schedule.
What we need to see:
Six plus years work experience with system software for embedded or automotive domains.
Experience with QNX, Linux, Android, or other embedded operating systems.
Strong C/C++ programmer (able to write correct and efficient code quickly, and be great at debugging low-level drivers)
Must have provable experience designing solutions that are extensible and solid.
Strong communication skills
BS or MS in CS, ECE or Related.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with parallel computing (CUDA, OpenCL, or similar)
Experience with the Agile development methodology
Experience with ARM CPU architecture and hardware considerations (memory controllers, buses, caches, etc.)
Experience with safety critical software stacks
Experience working within a large international team
