Qualifications and Job Description
Provide direction and oversight of the Central Intake Services Unit, including triage, screening, assessment, direct emergency relief, community linkage and advocacy work
Provide direction and oversight of the Housing program supervisor and Community Health Worker supervisor
Ability to engage with diverse clientele experiencing the impact of poverty, short and long term multi-problem situations and urgent needs
Provide administrative and programmatic supervision, development and direction of case work staff
Consult and collaborate with other agency personnel on emergency relief resources and services
Participate in agency and community-related committee work
Responsible for developing and monitoring program budget.
Responsible for managing and monitoring grant applications and contracts; trouble-shooting challenges to program success
Responsible for managing Continuous Quality Improvement
processes and reports for the program
Provide expertise, resources and coordination of Emergency Financial Assistance across Catholic Charities
Create and manage implementation of program procedures
Position demands flexibility, creativity, knowledge of community resources, and understanding of poverty and movement toward stability.
Engagement of staff, colleagues and stakeholders in advocacy efforts.
The successful candidate must possess an MSW or equivalent, strong leadership and collaboration skills.
