Cardiac Procedure Patient Care Tech - Parkview Regional Medical Center

Under the direction of the Director operates the EKG equipment and produces diagnostic electrocardiograms documenting electrophysiological variations of the heart muscle. Responsible for assuring a high level of quality in all prep procedures and providing the nurse and physician with all of the necessary information in order to decrease the prep time.


Must meet one of the following requirements: current CNA, or must take 5 week CNA course (CNA class and time spent in class paid for by Parkview) at time of hire; 2 years’ experience in a healthcare related field, training time will be determined based on experience; currently enrolled in nursing school having completed first clinical rotations; if hired prior to 12/3/18, an EMT, Paramedic or two (2) years military medical experience will be accepted. (If taking the 5 week CNA course, orientation will be completed within 2 weeks of completing the course.)
If candidate is at least 18 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, must meet the following requirements: must be actively working towards high school diploma/GED and receive within 1 year of hire; AND have current CNA license; OR have participated in a Health Occupations Education (HOE) program.


Must have current CPR certification.


Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Other Qualifications

Must be able to lift 50 lbs., shared lifting 150 lbs. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Schedule: Full Time Benefit Eligible, Days, Monday-Friday. 3 12h days each week.
