Cuyahoga County’s Department of Human Resources has an immediate opening for the role of Talent Acquisition and Employment Manager. This position reports to the Chief Talent Officer and leads the County’s efforts to recruit and retain the best talent for our 4,600 employees.
You should be a forward thinker with bold ideas about how the County can best position itself to attract and retain high quality talent for a wide spectrum of careers. The County is a complex, highly regulated environment with many players involved in employment decisions. You must develop positive working relationships and be able to make a compelling, data-driven business case for change. You will lead a team of five recruiters and an administrative professional, so you must provide direction, organizationally-relevant goals, and mentorship to your team. You are also a member of the HR leadership team and will help shape an agile, outcome-centered, humanistic human resources department.

Minimum requirements you must meet:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, labor relations, or a related field
Five years of progressive experience with one or more areas of human resources, preferably with recruiting and selection
Three years’ experience supervising or leading employees and/or teams
Demonstrated competency in fostering communication, creativity and innovation, analytical thinking, improving business processes, resilience, and strategic thinking
