This position is located in the Support Services Bureau/Secondary Employment Unit (SEU) of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Applicants must be available to work 1st Shift (0730-1600), as well as be on call 24 hours a day in order to respond to various secondary employment related issues.
Schedules sworn personnel for various SEU extra-duty assignments via electronic scheduling system.
Receives, reviews, scans and files all SEU Requests forms.
Handles telephone and drop-in inquiries regarding secondary employment issues and officer requests.
Maintains and secures all past and current MPD 150 forms.
Receives and documents revenue for SEU billable hours.
Monitors the collection of customer accounts via Accounts Receivable Reports and follow up via telephone and mail.
Posts all SEU clients' payments to the cash receivable file in Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS).
Prepares monthly SEU Metro billings in EBS and submitting to Metro Finance Dept.
Prepares monthly invoices for customers/vendors.
Prepares financial statements/work sheets on expenditures and receipts.
Trouble-shoots problems with invoices and payments.
High School Diploma and Four (4) years of increasingly responsible clerical/administrative experience. Valid Driver License.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) and Workbrain payroll systems.
Knowledge of SEU Scheduling Software.
