The Vice President of Account Management in the Health Plan / Payer Segment will lead a team of client management personnel responsible for our top health plan clients.

If you are located in Southern CA, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the profit and loss statements for each assigned account and manage to an operating budget, upsell targets, and sales growth goals
Accountable for establishing a strong bench, recruiting and developing top talent and developing a succession plan to accommodate for new growth
Forge high trust, highly effective relationships internally with teams such as underwriting, legal, product development and finance and externally with clients
Be a representative to the marketplace, and as such, demonstrates visionary thinking that sustains a competitive advantage

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience
10+ years of health care experience and recent leadership experience
Recent experience working with senior-level C-Suite executives
Demonstrated progressively increasing responsibility for client relationship management and consultation
Excellent negotiation / influence, collaboration, and listening skills
Demonstrated ability to message, position, and present information for maximum customer impact and influence
Program management skills
Ability to effectively navigate and drive results in a highly complex, matrix environment
Financial acumen and experience
Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Health or other related field
