The primary function of the Outside Equipment Salesperson is to solicit sales from existing customers, establish business relationships with new customers and promote Intermountain New Holland in the sales territory outlined by management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Outside Salesperson reports to the Sales Director. Reasonable sales targets will be established with business planning and accountability of the employee to ensure success.
Ability to accurately read and comprehend English instruction and information
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of relevant ag equipment sales experience
Valid Driver's License in good standing
Basic computer skills
Excellent organization and communication skills
This position requires driving to the customer location within a 100 mile radius of the dealership location, taking orders and delivering products. The employee with need to be able to lift 40 -50 pounds, work effectively without daily direct supervision.
Employee will be provided a base salary to be negotiated based on experience, company vehicle, expense account, medical insurance, training and other benefits. Compensation potential will include a component of commissions based on sales volume and profitability of booked deals. We have existing salesmen that consistently earn over $100,000 per year. The opportunity is there for self starters that understand the sales process and have the confidence to close the deal.
