In this customer engagement marketing manager role you will be responsible for celebrating our customers, supporting their marketing efforts and evangelizing their successes. You will create and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, sponsorships and communication activities (in conjunction with Viasat's Communication team) for our current airline customer base. The primary goal of this role is to strengthen our customer advocacy, create testimonial/endorsement content to support new customer acquisition activities and to leverage our airline customers' successes.
Key responsibilities are:
Working with the customer success, business development and communications teams to build a customer marketing and advocacy program.
Developing marketing programs for each individual airline customer to support our joint brand, customer acquisition and awareness activities.
Coordinate the implementation and ongoing management of customer marketing assets including case-studies, videos and other initiatives that demonstrate our customer's unique and impactful uses of Viasat solutions and services.
Provide marketing support to customer success managers as they promote and educate customers on new solutions and services.
To maintain and improve the quality of our customer database to support more effective targeted marketing and engagement activities.
To maintain and develop strong relationships with key business owners across the organization and with core members of our customers' marketing and communication teams.
To work with the extended marketing team to incorporate customer marketing collateral, advocacy and testimonials into the broader marketing content and campaign calendar.
7+ years marketing experience (preferably customer or retention marketing) in B2B environment.
Proven experience executing customer marketing programs with demonstrable KPIs.
Enthusiastic, positive, self-starter who enjoys working in a cross-functional team environment and ability to mentor junior marketing specialists.
Skilled communicator with ability to build relationships with leadership and senior management in customer organizations.
Ability to multitask and coordinate
Passion and/or interest in the aviation sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or applicable field
Ability to travel (10% to customer sites, trade shows and events
