We are currently seeking an energetic, driven, innovative and experienced Director of Growth to join a lean, agile company that develops a wide range of unique customer solutions. You will be responsible for defining our growth strategy, coordinating and executing plans for growth, and converting opportunities to meet revenue targets. The role involves business development (BD) and marketing in our unique space, sales, coach/manager, and full collaborator. You will be a key part of the most senior leadership team and will act as the bridge between the leadership and the growth team, a highly talented group of growth minded professionals in business development and product management to innovate not only on matching customers with our existing products, but also creating new products to meet client needs.
We’re looking at you to ensure goals are set appropriately, communicated clearly, and executed on aggressively. Working from both sides of the funnel you will own the BD process and ensure that our marketing approach and products are on point in order to achieve our business goals, while providing customer delight.
Provide leadership in business development and product management
Work with customers to identify needs and match them to existing and future solutions
Oversee the business development process from lead generation to the closing of a deal
Success is measured on the candidate's ability to build a high-quality BD pipeline, conversion of opportunities into contracts, and maintaining a robust Product Roadmap
Contribute to the development of proposals
Contribute to strategic planning and business growth goals
You are customer focused and have at least 10 years of experience in a growth-oriented role
You are passionate about talking with customers to identify needs and match them with solutions
You are a confident communicator, with great reasoning skills, and understand the art of influence
You know how to contribute to the development of products to meet client needs
You have experience with the BD process, an understanding of the client sales cycle, and hands on experience managing a CRM tool
You have a competitive, “can-do” attitude
You are creative and resourceful able to bounce between thinking on your feet and strategic planning. You never give up and inject rigor in everything you do.
BS or MS, in Technology, Business or other relevant area
Consulting experience that required successful technical writing, verbal presentation skills, and training
Experience leveraging reporting in Salesforce
